영어는 IE(인도유럽어족·Indo-European)에 뿌리를 둔다. 영어의 어원은 IE에서 분류된 Germanic의 형제지간인 Italic(이탈리아어계)에서 유래된 Lain(라틴어)를 모체로 한 Italian(이탈리아어), Spanish(스페인어), Portuguese(포르투갈어), French(프랑스어) 등이 어원에 많은 영향을 주었다. 이러한 어원은 그리스어, 라틴어, 고대영어 등으로 되어 있는데, 이 책에서는 접사(Affix)에서 접두사(Prefix), 접미사(Suffix), 신화와 고유명사, 엔터테인먼트, 논술 등, 영어 어원과 그 갈래에서 나온 영어 단어들이 각각의 테마에 맞게 배열되어 있어 이해를 돕는다.

◇ 논술에서 미진한 Paragraphing및 Indented style을 국립사대 국어 및 가정과 교생들에게도 이를 소개 전국적으로 확대시키도록 권고하고 본인 재직교 교사들에게 연수시켜 도연수원에 최우수성적을 거두게 도와줌
◇ 본인 자녀에게도 이를 지도해 대학교 과 수석 및 20 : 1의 교사 임용고시에 수석으로 합격토록 도움을 줌
⑷ 기타 적극적인 교육활동
◇ 한국인 영어 교사와 co-teacher인 Native Speakers와의 Workshops를 주도함

영어는 IE(인도유럽어족·Indo-European)에 뿌리를 둔다. 영어의 어원은 IE에서 분류된 Germanic의 형제지간인 Italic(이탈리아어계)에서 유래된 Lain(라틴어)를 모체로 한 Italian(이탈리아어), Spanish(스페인어), Portuguese(포르투갈어), French(프랑스어) 등이 어원에 많은 영향을 주었다. 이러한 어원은 그리스어, 라틴어, 고대영어 등으로 되어 있는데, 이 책에서는 접사(Affix)에서 접두사(Prefix), 접미사(Suffix), 신화와 고유명사, 엔터테인먼트, 논술 등, 영어 어원과 그 갈래에서 나온 영어 단어들이 각각의 테마에 맞게 배열되어 있어 이해를 돕는다.
